    Common Myths that will be addressed:

        “ I know what my business is worth.”
        “ My business is my retirement."
        “ Everyone has to pay tax.”
     

    Our distinguished panel will take a practical look at: 

        - What not knowing what your business is worth can cost you, your family, your partners, and your employees. 
        - Why it is important to have a formal Buy/Sell agreement and to keep it current.
        - Why it’s important to have a plan to fund it.
         -Why you may want to consider sources of retirement income outside of proceeds from the sale of your business.
        - Why it is important to give some serious thought, early, into how you are going to retire, when, and what legacy you will leave.
        - Plan for taxes; current, potential future, tax on retirement income, taxes on my business transfer. Like it or not you have a partner in Uncle Sam. Have a plan to deal with him.
